Seriously....no Sawgrass? I heard through the grape vine that the band received a nice letter explaining that the festival is trying to change things up this year to keep us coming back and that is why Sawgrass didn't get an invite. Well...I see ETA and Nitty Gritty Dirt band on the lineup...both were boring last year and if my memory serves me correctly, usually ETA and Melving Goins play 2 sets. If Appalachian Uprising wants to spice things up, stop giving bands two sets at the same festival and bring back some of our fun local favorites like Sawgrass and Hillbilly Gypsies!! I am really thinking of finding another festival for this summer :o(

If your memory was correct you would know that nitty gritty wasn't even at the farm last year. Melvin goins also emcees the event sometimes He is also in the hall of fame not taking anything away from sawgrass but how many gold records do they have? I love this festival yea last years lineup was weak but this years is off the hook. If you don't like it go ahead and find another festival enjoy paying out the nose for camping and Parking I won't miss ya a bit

I am looking for events to attend. I make/sell pickles, relishes and jellies. Would this be an event I should get into?

just so I'm clear, are glass bottles banned outright from the farm, or only from the concert area? thanks!
