Hey!!! My favorite festival of the year!! Can't wait! However, you seriously need to check out some good ohio grown trashgrass!! The rumpke mountain boys!!! They play late and great! Seriously they are fantastic! Been friends with them for years! Ben, Adam, Wolf, and Travis would make a great addition to your festival! Love and light!

Prices for tickets and vending seem way high for the lineup. Not sure about this one.

Hey ya'll! I've been going to Music in the Mountains in Summersville, WV for the last 20 yrs. I love that festival, and my favorite thing there is pickin with folks in the campground. Is there a lot of jamming at the Uprising? I'm thinking about coming to Eden Valley this year instead cause the lineup is soooo good!

Seriously....no Sawgrass? I heard through the grape vine that the band received a nice letter explaining that the festival is trying to change things up this year to keep us coming back and that is why Sawgrass didn't get an invite. Well...I see ETA and Nitty Gritty Dirt band on the lineup...both were boring last year and if my memory serves me correctly, usually ETA and Melving Goins play 2 sets. If Appalachian Uprising wants to spice things up, stop giving bands two sets at the same festival and bring back some of our fun local favorites like Sawgrass and Hillbilly Gypsies!! I am really thinking of finding another festival for this summer :o(
