| I had a blast, worth the drive from Louisiana. I thought I had died and went too bluegrass heaven. From hanging out with the Bing Brothers thur. nite, to cooking jambalaya in the creek bed for some good ole boys that were picking away, to meeting Iron Horse, wow and them brisket sandwitches, oh and the people were so friendly, and the best almost non-stop bluegrass for 3 days, Thanks Steve it was great, hope I can make it again next year. |

| Great Festival! Favorites were
#1 Carolina Chocolate Drops(best and most unique)
#2 Del and the jam with the Rambling Rooks(the jam part was amazing. I didn't expect it to be as tight and focused as the straight Del set but it was.
#3 Tyler Childers(really good songs)
#4 Detour(outstanding vocalist)
All others were good too although the above really stood out.
Hope you get Chocolate Drops bqack again. |

| Brad,
This will be our 4th AU, welcome. You made a great choice. Food is OK. Because the venue is so small there will be no more than 6 or 7 vendors. Food concerns will be so not a problem after you witness the visual, vibe, music, and fellowship of the AU experience. We have been to bonnaroo, mtn jam, all good among others, and as we get older we find smaller is better for all the right reasons.
Looking forward to meeting you, find us at the Pick town Palace. Will be there by 6pm Wednesday. |
