Thank you again for your continued support of The Appalachian Uprising and your future support of The Rally in the Valley!!!

Thank You!!!

We would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who played a part in this years Appalachian Uprising! Without your support and help this festival would not happen.

As much of a tradition as the music, the rain came in buckets Wednesday, forcing some campers to higher grounds as Big Spring Creek leaped out of its banks. Myself, Gina, Mac, Clay, J.D and John along with other campers went up and down the valley in knee deep water to try and secure peoples possessions so they would not be washed away. People came together to help thier fellow music lovers in a time of need. John was going tent to tent and happened upon two sleeping campers and rescued them and their belongings. Many stories of people helping one another were also played out that day!

As the waters receeded and the roads opened back up, the fields filled with music lovers.  The fields dried, the locust sang in harmony, and, as they say, the show went on!! And what a show it was. We hope everyone ended up having as wonderful of a weekend as we did. We hop you have a safe and happy summer and thank you for your continued support of Appalachian Uprising!!!
